Description
Join Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) around the campfire at the Harris Nature Center (HNC)to celebrate Smokey Bears 80th Birthday! Visitors will enjoy playing campfire games, making s'mores and they will even get to meet Smokey Bear to personally wish him a Happy Birthday! Special guests from the Meridian Township Fire Department will be here to help visitors learn all about fire safety and kids can even join the Smokey Bear Reading Challenge during the event. There is so much fun to be had at HNC on Monday, September 16th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
