Trying to keep your kids off the screen? Start your Saturday morning off with the free Home Depot Kids Workshop! Preregister for the event and show up between 9:00am-noon to complete your project. Registration is not required, but helps Home Depot have an idea of how many kits to have on hand. Kits are also first come first serve. It is best to arrive earlier than later.
All materials are provided for you. Each kit contains instructions, wood for project, nails, screws, and a pin for your apron for this month's project. Home Depot provides hammers and screwdrivers, as well as paint and brushes. My recommendation is that you wear old clothes if you plan to paint.
This event is designed for kids ages 5-12, but younger and older kids may also find joy in building these fun projects. Projects take about 30 minutes to complete and it is recommended that parents help their children, as hammers and screwdrivers her required to build.
