Now in its 28th year, Playmakers Autumn Classic is a treasured mid-Michigan fall tradition for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Due to COVID-19 we are offering the first ever Virtual Autumn Classic, so people can still enjoy a safe run/walk and the brilliant fall colors.
We are excited to introduce the first ever Virtual Autumn Classic! This year’s virtual event allows you to run/walk at any time, from any location from 5pm Friday, September 25, until 11:59pm Sunday, September, 27.
Since its inception, the Autumn Classic’s mission has been to bring the community together, promote fitness, and support the vitally important work of Special Olympics and the Playmakers Fitness Foundation.

Now the Autumn Classic tradition continues VIRTUALLY- your favorite roads, trails and parks become the 8K run/walk and 1 & 2 mile courses! You can run individually or with your team, you select when and where.
All virtual racers will receive a performance reflex blue heather quarter zip shirt and an official Autumn Classic bib. There is a free kids races with printable race bibs if kids want to participate!

Participants are encouraged to form Teams to complete the Virtual Autumn Classic together and celebrate as a group - there will be Team prizes!
- Team sizes must be limited to within the current state restrictions and guidelines for small group gatherings.
- Individuals within teams must practice safe social distancing and masking according to official guidelines.
Submit your time and pictures to be posted on the Autumn Classic results page, all participants will be entered into a drawing for awesome prizes. (There will be no age group awards this year.)
