PUBLIC NOTICE
The Ingham County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution on 6/23 to re-open the County operated beaches at Hawk Island County Park, Lake Lansing South County Park, and Burchfield County Park, as well as the Splash Pad at Hawk Island starting Saturday, July 4th.
Please note, there will be NO LIFEGUARDS and swimming will be AT YOUR OWN RISK. Beach hours for the 2020 summer season are 10:00am to 8:00pm, 7 days a week. The Splash Pad® at Hawk Island will be open 9:00am to 8:00pm, seven days a week.
A visit would not be complete to the parks without a picnic or some time spent on one of our many playgrounds as well. Playgrounds will be re-opened on Wednesday, July 1 and some shelter rentals will also be allowed. Park staff ask that gatherings do not surpass 100 people.
